What it does

Procurement workflow

The BuyFriend workflow has four steps: collect the request, research suppliers, track quotes and manage approval.

  1. Request intake

    Purchase requests from departments are collected with standard forms and enter the workflow without missing information.

  2. Supplier matching

    AI-assisted research finds suitable supplier candidates and lists them for comparison.

  3. Quotes and follow-up

    Quote requests go out from templates; replies are read from the inbox and scored, and overdue follow-ups trigger reminders.

  4. Approval and agreement

    Based on your rules, the step is either processed automatically or sent for manager approval, and the decision is added to the purchase record.
